Alaska, a land of great beauty and natural resources, has drawn many people from many cultures to come work and play in her vast wilderness. The Alaska Boys (sunbonnet sam) series is designed to celebrate some of Alaska's occupations and hobbies. Included are five Alaska Boy blocks: Fishing, Gold Mining, Logging, Hunting, and Wood Carving. Also included is a filler block pattern (which can be easily replaced with any of the Alaska Girl patterns) to finish out the nine patch quilt design.
