Shortcut Sheets are techniques to make different quilt units or blocks using only a standard 24" quilting ruler. They are a reference card, meant to be kept for future use. Techniques include: Flying Geese, Half Square Triangle, Quarter Square Triangle, Six Point Star, Hunters Star, Triangle in a Square and Hourglass. Teachers can download free patterns from kitsbycarla.com to prepare class kits. The Triangle in a Square technique includes a template to cut the corners off the 60 degree triangle pieces.
